Riverland West Landcare (formerly Riverland West Local Action Planning Association) was established in 1996 and is an active group of volunteers and staff that manage and implement community based natural resource management. Our main focus is a 20KM corridor either side of the River Murray between Lock 1 and Lock 3. Our greatest natural resource in this region is the River Murray, its associated floodplains and wetlands. This resource supports the townships of Morgan, Cadell and Waikerie.
